Virgil Abloh launches first sunglasses collection for Off-White

Virgil Abloh materializes Off-White’s aesthetic codes through a new collection of sunglasses.

The creative director of the iconic streetwear brand materializes Off-White’s aesthetic codes through a new collection of sunglasses.

Off-White

Virgil Abloh‘s new designs are characterized by their genderless character and avant-garde frames. There are four different silhouettes adorned with classic Off-White motifs: “Marfa”, “Alps”, “Manchester” and “The Cape”.

The “Marfa” model is characterized by its elongated shape following the cat’s eye pattern. It is available in white and pink, as well as black and tortoiseshell. The “Alps” glasses are distinguished by their extra-large design and thick frame, which wraps around the wearer’s face. Following the analysis, we find the “Manchester”, inspired by the aesthetics of the 80s and whose shape is an inverted trapezoid. Lastly, “The Cape” rescues the essence of the nineties with an oval frame and metal rims.

In addition to the new designs, the old “Arthur”, “Virgil”, “Tropez” and “Cady” models have also been included.

The Off-White sunglasses collection is already available in the online boutique for reservation. To be able to purchase them in physical stores, we will have to wait until June.

If you can’t wait to see how the new models look on you, you can try them on virtually through the AR filter on the brand’s Instagram.
