Wales Bonner unveils its SS23 accessories and footwear campaign 

Grace Wales Bonner’s brand welcomes summer with a special collection of handcrafted pieces focused on jewelry and footwear.

The campaign was photographed by Chris Rhodes against a backdrop of oyster shells, dyed horsehair, grained leather, faux fur and a zebra print saddle, alluding to the handcrafted nature of the collection.

Jewelry is made locally in Krobo, Ghana, from recycled glass beads, eggshell discs, freshwater pearls and custom-cast silver that forms necklaces and bracelets, all unique and different. Footwear, on the other hand, is made in Italy in collaboration with Himco, and includes suede-covered animal print moccasins inspired by the traditional babouche slipper and square-toed leather sandals.
