Zalando presents its new shopping experience together with HIGHSNOBIETY focused on individual inspiration and the enthusiasm that comes with trend-spotting.
On Tuesday 12 September, we headed to Berlin to get a closer look at ‘Stories on Zalando’ and immerse ourselves in this new content centre that inspires and excites in equal parts. A unique initiative that rewards creativity and individuality through different style icons such as Charli XCX, ambassador of the campaign and undisputed protagonist of the experience in the German capital.
David Fischer, director of HIGHSNOBIETY, together with the Zalando team, gave us an insight into the motivations behind this unique union and then we experienced it up close as we entered the creative worlds of the British artist, the music producer Sega Bodega, the visionary stylist Taiga Sato and the floral designer and founder of Studio Linné, Misha Todirascu.
On the evening of 13 September, the day of the global launch of ‘Stories on Zalando’, over 400 attendees gathered at a key location in Charlottenburg to witness what was to come. From the recreation of Charli XCX‘s bedroom to Sega Bodega‘s short film directed by Nick Harwood. Not to mention performances by Only Fire and Juliana Huxtable and sets by DJ Aya and Saint Cabocio.
