Who's behind Margot Robbie's 'barbiecore' looks?

With the world tour of the Barbie premiere, Margot Robbie’s stylist has taken it upon himself to replicate some of the doll’s most iconic looks. But who is Andrew Mukamal?

Andrew was born in New York and grew up in Scarsdale, a town near the city that never sleeps. The stylist graduated from the University of Virginia and began his career as a freelance stylist. After working as an assistant to the CEO of People’s Revolution, a New York fashion and PR agency, he joined the fashion team at Seventeen magazine, and is now a freelance stylist. The designer has an extensive portfolio of magazine covers, fashion show designs and red carpet looks for today’s hottest celebrities.

Although we have discovered him for his work with Margot Robbie, he was previously the stylist of Zoë Kravitz, with whom he has a good friendship, and of Kaia Gerber (Cindy Crawford’s daughter) and Lily-Rose Depp (Johnny Depp’s daughter), among others. However, the professional is now on everyone’s lips because together with Margot they are recreating some of the Barbie doll looks for the premieres. “We’ve found Barbie references from decades past and we’re recreating them. We are combining Barbie references with great designers”.
