If there’s one thing YUME YUME is known for, it’s its original and innovative designs. Following this line of work, for the new Fall season, the Amsterdam-based brand has enlisted AI artist Luke Nugent to craft the campaign imagery. Nugent created a dreamy, close-to-reality residency in Los Angeles as a backdrop, showing the models dressed in the brand’s new collection.
For this collection, the brand was inspired by rain and its ability to create life. The drops that we see falling from the sky are the beginning of all nature existing on this earth. The translation of this concept is seen in the choice of colors, fabrics and accessories of the brand’s new collection.
The pleated balloon skirt with its characteristic puffed look, available in long and mini versions, a perfect oversize boyfriend tuxedo half-tailored in black silk and black wool, cropped coats available in the vegan leather for which YUME YUME is known, now also available in luxurious Italian wool versions, a Baby knitted garment with very long sleeves made in a fluffy mohair and silk blend and a square mini dress with wide shoulders that comes in genuine suede.
YUME YUME has also designed several accessories, from a very puffy hood that keeps you warm and comfortable on the coldest days to mega gloves in genuine suede that crinkle nicely around the arms and can be worn as a style piece over the coat.
The collection will be available this week at the brand’s official store and at selected retailers such as SSENSE, LN-CC, Nubian in Tokyo, Empty in Seoul, 10 Corso Como in Milan and many more.
