For its first collaboration, the fast fashion giant Zara, owned by Inditex, has chosen the American sportswear brand Everlast.
The collection is made up of brand classics such as hoodies and crewnecks, but also of unexpected items such as a shirt and a raincoat, all at a price ranging from 30 to 80 euros.
Although the collaboration will not be available in all markets – yes in Spain – the project is a testimony to how the power of the Inditex group is leading more and more brands to combine collaborations and projects. For example, Eastpak has sold some of its articles in Bershka stores, while Havaianas has collaborated with Pull&Bear and Stradivarius.
The collection is pure Everlast, pieces that in the 2000’s occupied the streets of the USA and half of Europe and that now are reinterpreted with current codes and Y2K brushstrokes.
We will not deny it, we like what we see. We will see which is the future of Zara’s collaborations, we have the feeling that it will not be as successful as HM’s.
The collection is available here.
