The prestigious Zegna brand, part of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group, joins the Real Madrid team as official tailor.
The collaboration agreement establishes that, from now on, Zegna will be in charge of designing the suits for Real Madrid‘s first squads in both football and basketball. A selection of made-to-measure pieces that the players will be able to wear “whenever the occasion calls for it”.
“Zegna and Real Madrid are proud to announce an exclusive partnership in which Zegna will become the ‘Official Luxury Travelwear Partner’ of Real Madrid. An agreement that will be in place for the 2022/2023 season,” said the club. “Through this agreement, the world’s most successful football club will partner with an icon of Italian luxury menswear with a strong heritage of sartorial know-how.
An estimated duration of this agreement has not yet been finalised, nor has it been established whether it is a one-off partnership. What is known is that an exclusive event will be held on 30 September where the collection will be officially unveiled. It will be during the first Champions League away game when the players will be able to show off their designs.
