LOEWE expands its home fragrance repertoire with the launch of its cucumber candle.
A scented candle conceived by creative director Jonathan Anderson and created in collaboration with artisan perfumer Nuria Cruelles and global brand ambassador Leo Wu; the celebrated Chinese actor with a loyal fan base and following both for his film roles and captivating vlogs dedicated to sport and the outdoors.
Crafted in natural wax with a cotton wick and presented in a pale green glazed terracotta vessel with a patterned base and Leo Wu‘s name, the LOEWE Cucumber candle evokes an intense aquatic scent reminiscent of a juicy, freshly picked cucumber, brightened with notes of fresh mint.
The candle is presented in a box that, like all LOEWE candles, features an image created by Erwan Frotin. The packaging shows a cucumber and its leaves against a coloured background, creating a dialogue between the scent and the ingredient, the inspiration and the result.
Leo Wu appears in the campaign, interacting around a surreal giant version of the candle, or holding the actual candle in his hands.
