Once again, Kim Jones surprises with the new Dior 2021-2022 winter campaign in collaboration with artist Peter Doig. Jones reinterprets men’s formalwear by drawing materials from the brand’s traditions and injecting a new atmosphere into the enduring source of inspiration.

Each shape reflects the exquisite craftsmanship of Dior Ateliers, highlighting the magic of Peter Doig’s paintings. The proposal shows an extraordinary look at Jones and Doig’s masterful artistic conversation through the eyes of Raphael Pavarotti. Under the poetic background, Peter Doig’s poignant brushstrokes are sublimated to the fullest in all Dior elements.

Hats and berets take center stage, merging Jones’ style with that of the renowned artist.  The hand-painted designs are imbued with boundless creativity. Dior’s Saddle bag for this season brings the precious gold woven cannetille flower version and the detailed camouflage version, with vivid colors, including chocolate and cognac, and even tan tones. The same classic pattern also embellishes the Dior Explorer boots. Jewelry, directed by Yoon Ahn of AMBUSH, pays homage to Renaissance gems and military insignia.

Whole Dior Winter 2021 Menswear series opens a door to various art forms, and the design is not restricted to a particular time or style.
