Matthew Williams, apart from making magic at Givenchy, continues his creative path at 1017 ALYX 9SM. Now, he prepares us for the spring-summer season with a new set of monochromatic designs: the tech-focused Mono Slip On technical sneakers. Something very much in sync with the pandemic and comfort-wear era.
Presented for the first time in the brand’s SS21 collection, the Mono Slip On footwear proposal comes in black and white versions with a series of intrinsic details. Technical grooves dress both the upper and soles, which are composed entirely of a single piece of EVA foam. With occasional perforations along the upper, the design is completed with the 1017 ALYX 9SM logo embossed on the sidewalls and heel.
