Designer Hedi Slimane has published his personal repertoire of cultural references, including a list of films that are perfect for watching this quarantine. And the best part is, they’re all free at MUBI.
The creative director has decided to help entertain his fans with a list of his eleven favorite movies, all available on MUBI. The selection of movies will be free until May 31st, although availability may vary by country.
The films chosen by Hedi Slimane are mostly classics from historical film periods, such as the nouvelle vague, with titles like The 400 Blows and Pierrot Le Fou. We also find other films by essential directors such as Ingmar Bergman, Coppola, Wim Wenders or Antonioni. The most modern touch is provided by Xavier Dolan‘s cult films with Laurence Anyways. The Red Circle, Charade and Night Tide are other of his #mustwatch.
