Converse continues its tri-color launch chain through a new sustainable partnership with Carhartt WIP. The latest proposal is based on the Chuck 70 Renew silhouette, which has been produced from vintage Carhartt jackets, trousers and coveralls, all from Beyond Retro.
These precious items have been sorted into three different colour options, navy blue, black and brown, before being cut into butterfly format to create the individual panels for the Chuck 70. As each of these pieces is vintage and has a unique finish this is conveyed in the importance of each pair of Carhartt WIP x Converse.
The top fabrics are sewn into a three-panel construction, meaning that each pair of the collaboration has a black, navy blue and beige panel. The finish of the design is an exposed seam and the Carhartt WIP mark on the tongue and heel.
