These are the MTV EMAs 2020 winners

As every year, the MTV EMAs 2020 has announced its winners. On this occasion and due to the Coronavirus restrictions, the 27th EMAs gala has been developed in a different way. With a virtual format and recorded from various locations around the world, the girls of Little Mix have been responsible for presenting the event.

The South Korean k-pop band BTS has become the big winner of the MTV EMAs 2020 by winning four awards: ‘Best Song’, ‘Best Group’, ‘Best Live Online’ and ‘Best Fans’. Karol G was the fortunate one in taking several prizes, one for ‘Better Latin artist’ and the second one for ‘Better collaboration’ feat. Nicki Minaj for their song ‘Tusa’.

In an edition highlighted for the most innovative technology, the artists were present from scenerios all over the world. Maluma performed ‘Djadja’ and ‘Hawaii’ with an impressive cast of dancers and showing spectacular views of Miami. The Little Mix trio, with the absence of Jesy Nelson who was unable to attend, performed from London. Alicia Keys performed her song ‘Love Looks Better’ on the piano from Los Angeles , and David Guetta made an appearance on one of the most impressive stages of the night. From Hungary, the electronics artist appeared with Raye on a stage built in the swimming pool of the Széchenyi Bath in Budapest.
