The Danish sports brand is back in business with its latest spring/summer 2021 collection. “Game Day” is inspired by the outfits that football lovers choose to attend their favourite game.
In a year in which rituals and routines have been interrupted all over the world, the streetwear Hummel brand intends to return to normal with its latest sports line. A look ahead to 2021. A reminder for all those football fans who have spent months and months – because of the global pandemic – without attending the most special event of each week: the match.
Highlighting key locations such as Goodison Park Stadium, owned by English football club Everton Football Club. The “Game Day” lookbook with which Hummel presents this capsule offers a more relaxed view of the looks worn by fans. At the same time, it takes us to the scenes where the same Everton FC fans lost their temper during a season interrupted by the Covid-19.
The home shirt, the visitor’s shirt and the club’s training shirt, each of which has been made by the brand, are combined with the remaining Hummel SS21 garments. As well as pieces from their HIVE line inspired by European ultras are also part of it. Along with the clothing, the brand’s Reach LX6000 and LX3000 sneakers stand out, which made their debut earlier this year.
The Hummel SS21 collection will be launched in mid-February 2021 and will be available at the sports brand’s web shop.
