J Balvin, Post Malone and Katy Perry come together for the Pokemon compilation album.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of Pokémon, the franchise has launched the creation of a 14-track compilation album. The project will feature a number of Universal Music Group artists including J Balvin, Katy Perry and Post Malone.
Post Malone was the main character on the 27 February, the day on which the anniversary celebration took place through a virtual concert that lasted approximately 25 minutes. The stage was filled with figures from the Pokémon universe moving to the rhythm of songs such as Circles, Only Wanna Be With You and Psycho.

On the other hand, the participation of J Balvin and Katy Perry was confirmed through Pokemon’s official Twitter account. It is also known that more events will be held and that there will be new appearances by international artists in the different music videos.
The show, which is called P25 Music, will also focus on three new video games for Nintendo Switch: Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl, New Pokemon Snap and the long-awaited Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
The album will be released in October 2021 via Capitol, as J Balvin has confirmed via Rolling Stone magazine.
