Last night saw the 93rd Academy Awards, Hollywood’s most important film ceremony. Held in a hybrid of the physical and digital worlds, the gala was marked by the presence of films that have not even been shown in cinemas internationally. Here is the full list of Oscars 2021 winners.
Director Chloé Zhao‘s NOMADLAND emerged through a political lens as the big winner of the year, the first woman of Asian descent and the second woman overall to win Best Director. Other films such as Soul, The Father, Mank, and Sound of Metal also made a big impact at the 93rd edition.
