Givenchy creative director Matthew Williams is once again collaborating with Nike. The designer presents a yoga collection with the brand that, in addition to fashion garments, also includes new colour combinations of the MMW Zoom 4 sneakers that were first launched in September.
005 MMW Yoga, referring to the designer’s initials, is the first collection in which Williams focuses on yoga. Previously his designs for Nike were more street style and athleisure, such as the line he launched in May 2021, but his latest capsule collaboration is loaded with edgy, futuristic pieces that are very much in keeping with his identity.
The launch includes yoga leggings, long sleeve tops, sports bras, shorts, jackets and pieces where comfort and aesthetics come first. The key item of the drop is the U NRG B jacket with an unstructured silhouette, detachable hood, high collar and adjustable waist. Wearing this collection to take up yoga will be your new New Year’s resolution.
Aside from the neutral shades of black, beige and blue, we can’t leave out the third installment of the Nike MMW Zoom 4 that comes in the 005 MMW Yoga drop from Givenchy‘s creative director. The silhouette has been beefed up with technical elements including a polyester mesh upper and glossy overlays.
You can now get your hands on the 005 MMW Yoga collection at alyxstudio.com and nike.com.
