If we were already surprised by the departure of designers Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh from Nina Ricci’s creative department, we were even more surprised by the departure of designer Kerby Jean Raymond from Reebok after five years working with them and two as creative director.
This news was announced by Kerby himself through a press release and later shared on his Instagram profile with a message in which he thanked all the support that the sports brand had given him and highlighted how it had changed his life and that of his family. Reebok also thanked him for all the creativity and positive impact he brought to the brand during this time.
Sadly it’s time to say goodbye to the Kerbito era at Reebok, as after becoming part of Adidas it looks like it’s time for change. Kerby Jean Raymond’s last collection for the brand will be released at the end of March. Stay tuned to see what the final release surprises us with.
What will be the designer’s next stop, will he join another creative department or will he focus solely on his signature Pyer Moss? Time will tell.
