After presenting their experimental thigh-high boots for SS23, MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon are teaming up again this FW22 to launch low top lace-up trainers and lightweight high top boots.
Maison Margiela’s youthful MM6 line is known for its imaginative collaborations, ranging from Eastpak’s quilted backpacks to Roly-Poly garments with The North Face. This time, the brand has teamed up with French brand Salomon to launch a collection of functional silhouettes.
Functioning as both a streetwear element and a trail runner, the collaborative collection includes a low top and high top silhouette in different colour combinations. The collaborative low-top shoes closely resemble the XT-6 and Hike 2.
TPU film and decorative lines wrap around the sneaker with a new nylon design that extends across the upper, secured by a Quicklace™ system. The high top trainers feature a similar sole unit and nylon upper with suede overlays.
