UNIQLO has just announced the launch of the new Spring/Summer 2023 Uniqlo U collection, designed by Christopher Lemaire and his UNIQLO R&D team in Paris.
A selection of designs that evoke lightness and comfort for a contemporary and timeless wardrobe. Overlapping garments in soft matte cotton and refreshing AIRism cotton combine with utilitarian and lightweight outerwear to create a selection of versatile essentials with unexpected but carefully considered proportions. A fun and sophisticated colour palette combines understated neutrals and vivid blues and beiges with splashes of green, orange, yellow, purple and pink.
The women’s collection offers versatility through refined, seamless sportswear, suitable for exercise but also for everyday wear. The transparent shirt with plastron pockets in matt-finish cotton is a new essential. Slightly curved, skinny-leg jeans create a new contemporary silhouette.
As for the men’s collection, it’s a rich offering of versatile essentials for a modern yet timeless look. The seersucker striped shirts and cotton Bermuda shorts are cut loose for a simple, summery silhouette. The 3/4-sleeve box-neck T-shirt has been enhanced with a boxy fit.
The Uniqlo U SS23 x Christophe Lemaire collection will be available in shops and on uniqlo.com from 16 January.
