Tomorrow, 22 February, from 8pm, VETA by Fer Frances will inaugurate ‘Another Night in LA’, featuring 12 simultaneous exhibitions and pieces by a core group of Los Angeles artists dealing with current issues such as immigration, origins, class struggle, drug trafficking and even gender.
This is the most important opening of the season, as all the gallery’s spaces will be open to welcome up to 700 guests, including collectors from all over the world. The opening also coincides with the ARCO fair, a high point for art in Madrid.
Among the artists taking part in ‘Otra noche en LA’ are Diana Yesenia Alvarado, Michael Alvarez, Mario Ayala, Raul Baltazar, Alex Becerra, Sayre Gomez, Alfonso Gonzalez Jr, Elmer Guevara, María Maea, Erick Medel, Jaime Muñoz, Gabriela Ruiz, Bryan Ali Sanchez, Eduardo Sarabia and Georgina Treviño.
