The eagerly awaited fashion show took place at 103 Champs Elysées and was attended by many famous faces such as Zendaya, Ana de Armas, Léa Seydoux, Alicia Vikander, Cloë Grace Morezt and Pharrell Williams.
Nicolas Ghesquière’s SS24 collection was unveiled in a space designed by James Chinlund that simulated a hot air balloon both inside and out, where even the seats were covered in orange fabric. To the rhythm of music composed by Zaho de Sagazan, the looks began to follow one after the other on the catwalk, offering a unique visual spectacle dominated by plays on volumes, combinations of prints and deconstructed designs. Oversized leather bomber jackets, semi-transparent ruffled skirts, draped plaid blouses, crossover belts, leather corsets, pinstripe trousers and triple-breasted satin coats matched with pencil skirts were just a few of the highlights.
The front row, packed with celebrities such as Peggy Gou, Jaden Smith, Shay Mitchell, Emma Chamberlain, Saorise Ronan and Jennifer Connely, welcomed the show with applause and cheers for the designer, who has been at the helm of Louis Vuitton‘s women’s line for ten years now.
