The Maison‘s latest Haute Joaillerie proposal is inspired by Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the ingenious creative who gave life to countless original designs.
Passionate about travel, boots, typefaces, books and art in general, the erudite thinker and collector paved the way to what we know today through flirtatious and unique ideas. That is why Les Gastons explores his multifaceted personality while remembering and celebrating his legacy, representing his modernity in innovation in techniques, materials and movement mechanisms.
The collection is based on the sensitivity that men and women feel towards the world around them, while maintaining the refined spirit and avant-garde approach that characterises LV‘s fine jewellery collections under the artistic direction of Francesca Amfitheatrof, with details inspired by the iconic Monogram motif and the classic boot brought to life through 16 pieces and 2 masterpieces, rings, pendants, necklaces, tags, gourmettes, bracelets and earrings created in yellow gold, white gold and titanium.
The latter material defines the line while allowing the introduction of Les Gastons Blue, a new denim-inspired colour that has been developed using titanium and has light and resistant properties.
“This collection is like a pair of jeans. Everyone has a pair of jeans that, the more you wear them, the more you like them. The freshness and innovation of blue combines with white gold and yellow gold to bring a higher level of luxury,” says Amfitheatrof.
