Vans Skateboarding brings together two generations of the world's most progressive skateboarders

Through the Skate Classics collection, which includes new versions of the Skate Half Cab and Skate Rowley.

If there are two figures in the history of this sport that have marked a before and after, those are Steve Caballero and Geoff Rowley, the undisputed protagonists of the new proposal of Vans Skateboarding. The brand from Costa Mesa, California, has decided to count on them with the aim of continuing to inspire new generations and has brought them together to remaster the Skate Half Cab and the Skate Rowley, two of its most prominent icons.

The first, introduced in 1992, is an “official” iteration of the cut-down OG Caballero, which the most daring skaters customized in their own way using only scissors and tape. The second one dates from 1999 and stands out for its slim and vulcanized silhouette that contrasted with the oversized constructions of the time.

Caballero and Rowley have been joined by other relevant names such as Breana Geering, Daiki Hoshino, Zion Wright, Rome Collyer, Dick Rizzo, Curren Caples, Nelly Morville, Diego Todd and Pedro Delfino.

The new Vans Skate Classics selection features PopCush insoles for maximum support, responsiveness and impact protection; reinforced Duracap rubber underlays for increased durability and SickStick outsoles. They arrive in a somber color palette that fuses black and purple hues with hot pink accents and are accompanied by a thoughtful selection of matching apparel.
