The new masculinity dresses with classic references, urban codes and a university accent.
In this capsule collection, which will hit stores in September as a preview of the SS26 collection, traditional academic attire undergoes a radical reinterpretation under Williams‘ visionary approach. It pays homage to the transatlantic exchanges between Paris and the Ivy League that have quietly shaped the male imagination of the 21st century.
To achieve this, a sober colour palette is proposed, accentuated with bright details, and prints such as the Monogram Tartan take over shirts, hoodies and denim outfits. The result is a collection with a preppy yet casual spirit, with sporty touches that are far from basic and exude quiet luxury.
Pharrell continues to expand Louis Vuitton‘s graphic universe with renewed codes: the Monogram Heritage stripe appears on jackets and work shirts as a nod to elevated workwear. Meanwhile, the new Monogram Seeds—a floral reinterpretation of Damier—takes centre stage on key pieces such as leather overshirts and oversized denim designs, with textures that invite exploration through touch.
And, as tradition dictates, the visual emphasis is on outerwear. Highlights include double-sided wool and cashmere jackets, single-breasted bouclé coats and reversible jacquard jackets.
When it comes to accessories, Monogram Heritage scarves take centre stage, revealing different shades when turned. On the feet, LV Oxfords in calf leather elevate the classic silhouette, while LV Remixes bring a fresh touch to any look.
