Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Motherhood with Justin Bieber: ‘I Definitely Want One More’

Motherhood clearly suits Hailey Bieber. The Rhode Beauty founder recently opened up about family life with Justin, making it clear that her journey as a mum is far from over. During her appearance on the Therapuss podcast, hosted by Jake Shane, Hailey shared how she’s embracing this new phase following the birth of her son, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024, nearly five years after marrying the singer.

Hailey is certain about one thing, but without any pressure attached. She’s taking it “one child at a time”, leaving the door open to expanding the family. She would like at least one more, though she’s in no rush. “I definitely want one more,” she said, while admitting she has no idea what the future might hold. Maybe three more, maybe four. For now, she prefers not to overthink it and simply take each day as it comes.

Rather than planning everything down to the smallest detail, she’s realised that motherhood isn’t quite what she expected. She describes the experience as far more relaxed than she imagined, especially as a first-time mum. “It’s so much fun,” she said. She also acknowledges that you never truly know what it will be like until you’re in it. What surprised her most was discovering she’s “a lot more relaxed” as a mother than she thought she would be. In the end, she explains, it’s about figuring things out day by day.

A Growing Family (At Their Own Pace)

Back in 2020, during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Justin admitted he’d love a big family. “I’m going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out… I’d love to have myself a little tribe, but it’s her body and whatever she wants to do.”

For now, the couple appear aligned on one key point: there’s no pressure. Hailey is enjoying the present moment and the daily adventure of raising their first child, without strict timelines or grand announcements, but with the door very much open to a bigger family in the future.
