Hypebeast has just announced its first collaboration with ASICS (Anima Sana In Corpore Sano), one of the brands that has known how to evolve the concept of technology applied to footwear and which has always been one of the most daring experimenters in the world of sports footwear.
ASICS x HYPEBAST, a tribute to the 90’s
The two brands have decided to co-create a version of the coveted GEL-KAYANO 5 OG, a retrofit of one of the most iconic silhouettes of ASICS brand founded in 1949 at Kōbe.
The model that takes its name from Toshikazu Kayano, responsible for a large number of designs within the brand, has been readapted by Hypebeast to fall in love with all the millenials that have put their attention on the retrorunners of bold aesthetics.
As for the release data, it’s still a little confusing. What is confirmed is that the seneakers will see the light next May 31 at HBX.com and the Hong Kong store.
