The auction house, RM Sotheby’s, has just released a new offering: a 2003 Ferrari Enzo in perfect condition.
This 2003 Ferrari Enzo, which comes up for auction in March in Ontario, Canada, was shipped to Japan when new, but once there it was never registered. This means that the car has only 227 kilometres on the odometer, most of which were driven by Ferrari test drivers at the Maranello factory.
In the photos provided by RM Sotheby’s you can see the factory protective plastic over the pedals, behind the seats and on the side sills. Even the key has been left in its original plastic bag. The factory three-piece luggage set also remains in its original packaging.
As well as being virtually untouched, this Ferrari is also unique. It is one of nine examples finished in Argento Nürburgring paintwork, and it is claimed to be the only one with brown leather upholstery. All other cars featured black or red interiors.
Like other Ferrari Enzo models (such as the first matte black Ferrari Enzo), this car is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 651 bhp. That power is sent to the rear wheels, via a six-speed F1 automated manual transmission.
