Aaron Rose Philip dazzles at Moschino SS22 show

Aaron Rose Philip rejoins the Jeremy Scott team and along with Winnie Harlow and Precious Lee star in the Moschino SS20 show.

Aaron Rose Philip is the first black, transgender and disabled model to make her high fashion catwalk debut for Moschino AW20. Now she has rejoined Jeremy Scott’s team and together with Winnie Harlow, Precious Lee and Gigi Hadid, among others, they are starring in the Moschino SS20 show.

New York Fashion Week is back with a large majority of in-person shows after two years. This time, Moschino presented its spring/summer 2022 collection at Manhattan’s Bryant Park with a kitschy tea party-inspired show. Among the models in the show were Aaron Rose Philip, Winnie Harlow and Precious Lee.

“I hope this is the beginning of more and will inspire and empower more global brands to truly include and normalise the presence of disabled talent. Black trans girls and women are important and they are beautiful and I thank God that we are becoming more and more aware of the gentle souls that we are,” states model Aaron Rose Philip.

The brand‘s latest collection is a nostalgic longing for childhood. Thus, there is a presence of dresses and skirt suits printed with drawings. Another highlight were the sets of plastic keys in pastel shades that hung from the models’ waists. In addition, Gigi Hadid was chosen to open and close the fashion show, while drinking from a bottle.
