Acne Studios presents its “paper” book

Acne Studios has just launched its “paper book” to commemorate its fashion magazine published between 2005 and 2014.

The Swedish fashion brand, Acne Studios, has decided to start the summer by celebrating some good news. What? The launch of its new Paper Book. This extra-large format book was born with the aim of replacing and remembering the non-conformist magazine that the brand published between 2005 and 2014.

Comprising a total of 560 pages, this book is characterised by the same dimensions as the magazine in question. Conceptualised by Acne Studios founder and creative director Jonny Johansson and edited by Thomas Persson, each page honours the magazine’s stimulating journalistic explorations of subjects ranging from escapism to eroticism.

These themes are some of the clear protagonists to be found among its dozens of editorials, made possible by stylists Marie Chaix and Mattias Karlson and fashion photographer Christopher Smith. But it is not only thanks to these professionals that this paper book has been possible, but many others of the stature of Irving Penn, Kim Jones, Bill Cunningham, Louise Wilson, Alex Katz, Richard Prince, Viviane Sassen, Eric Boman, Sarah Moon, David Bailey and many more have also collaborated.

Finally, for all those fans of the brand and its previous magazine, today is your lucky day, as the Swedish brand has confirmed that the magazine will be published again this Autumn 21. And if you want to get your hands on this paper book, you should know that it’s already available on the A.S. website and costs 110 dollars.
