ALEPH: Magic Realism in the new collection of Lilith by Sita

ALEPH is Sita Abellan’s new collection for Lilith S/S 2020. Inspired by celestial objects, with magical realism as a backdrop, the connection between the real world and fantasy is dissolved in the alloys that form these pieces of jewellery.

New golden necklaces, earrings, chains and caps that combine the snake-representation of Lilith, the first woman in Eden, a being associated with feminine power– with ornamental images of the sun and the moon. Sita’s new creation links this ancient mythology with the most contemporary visions of the human experience. Filip Custic is in charge of the photography, contributing his personal stamp to the campaign’s aesthetic. With 3D by @bb.motion.

Presented during Milan’s Fashion Week in September, the collection is a fusion between psychological and physical reality. Lilith’s pieces are designed to help transcend everyday life. Since her debut, some of the best international artists and models, including Kim Kardashian, Billie Eilish, Rosalia, J. Balvin and Winnie Harlow among others, have shown their interest in the designs.
