All we experienced at Art Basel Miami through Ray-Ban Stories

The H. team landed in Miami Beach to witness one of the most important weeks for the art and fashion world. As we want to share with you what we experienced, this is our point of view of Art Basel Miami through Ray-Ban Stories.

We crossed the pond for a week to enjoy one of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve had this season: Art Basel Miami through Ray-Ban-Stories, the sunglasses with two built-in 5MP micro-cameras that allow you to record and photograph everything you see. In order to document everything, but everything, everything, follow us in this fast-paced story through the best fairs and parties around Vice City.

We stayed at the famous Colony Hotel, located on Ocean Drive, in the heart of South Beach, known for the famous film Scarface. We started the week with Mambo Creatives, visiting Miranda Makaroff’s Ping Pong exhibition at the Tomas Redrado Art Gallery, and of course we couldn’t say no to the opening party of Art Basel in Midtown, Wynwood, also known as the art district, where we joined artists and friends.

We had breakfast at Big Pink restaurant, known for its signature pink colour, and joined artists Sabek and Piro to work on a joint mural for the Wynwood Mural Fest. We ate at Puerto Sagua, the best Cuban in South Beach, and soaked up the sun on Miami Beach. We also visited The Codes exhibition, a tribute to Virgil Abloh’s career, and got to know the ins and outs of the Off-White universe.

In the evening we visited the installation “Future Transmutation” by artist and friend Pilar Zeta in the gardens of the W Southbeach Hotel, where we were able to enjoy Hands Of Sand, the party of DJ Pascale Moscheni, with the special invitation of Chloe Caillet and Hank Korsan, organised by the Mambo team. We were able to see celebrities such as Bella Thorne and Ines Rau.

We continued the week with the Jean Paul Gaultier party, hosted by Chipi Menéndez. Where the brand’s intimate family gathered to the rhythm of Edgar Kerry. There we saw Candice Swanepoel, Chloe Wise and Gigi Goode, among others. We finished at the Faena Hotel, celebrating with Farfetch the 20th anniversary of Esteban Cortázar’s career. We danced to the rhythm of Pascale Moscheni and Honey Dijon, along with J Balvin and Valentina Ferrer.

Friday night we started the tour with a glass of wine at the Penfolds ‘Venture Beyond’ party and continued with the Yves Saint Laurent family at the party celebrating the re-release of Madonna’s book “Sex”. A dream location in the heart of Miami Beach, where we danced with Hailey Bieber, Zöe Kravitz, Madonna, Úrsula Corberó, Raf Simons, Rauw Alejandro, among others.

The week culminated with the Rayban team at Ally’s party, in collaboration with United Masters. We were able to enjoy a day of talks in a beautiful venue in Wynwood, which ended with a performance by Martinez Brothers. The best way to say goodbye to the city that welcomes us every November. And, although we have told you many details of our week, we can’t help but say that ‘what happens in Miami, stays in Miami’.
