ALYX has just presented its new collaboration with Vans. As far as the silhouettes are concerned, what is really interesting is the treatment sneakers have received.
Under the silhouettes of the SK8-HI and Authentic the Italian company has applied a special and exclusive rubber treatment; they were “coated with durable liquid rubber and baked” in order to improve their durability. The whole process of rubber coating and treatment was carried out by hand in Italy.
The colour palette is based on reds, blacks, silver, greens and whites. A new and innovative proposal from one of the most avant-garde firms of the moment.
