Following the presentation of a surreal spring/summer 2022 lookbook earlier this year, Martine Rose offers another look at its SS22 men’s collection through new campaign images.
The artwork of ‘Carefree Dancing’ and ‘Alive With Preasure’ are given special prominence in this new extension of Martine Rose’s SS22 men’s collection. The latest campaign mixes representative images of the brand while combining different concepts.
The campaign features Tuck Neck jackets that are inspired by the Infiniti and Pirelli logos, reminiscent of the looks worn by the gabber ravers of the 90s. As well as satin phone print shirts inspired by Syd Brak’s popular poster for Athena, “Long Distance Kiss”.
The tucked-in or turned-up collars of the jackets reflect the everyday happenings of a fast-paced electric lifestyle characteristic of the 90s. For example, those who were arrested in a nightclub, had a fight or simply dressed in a hurry.
