Since breaking into the fashion world, Kiko Kostadinov has earned a prominent place for his experimental and avant-garde approach. By partnering with ASICS, a brand synonymous with performance and advanced technology, Kostadinov has found the perfect canvas for his creative vision. His latest creation, the GEL-FLAMMAE silhouette, is irrefutable proof of their innovative synergy.
The silhouette features a robust yet streamlined structure, with strategic use of materials such as mesh and premium leather that not only add visual appeal, but also ensure comfort and durability. ASICS’ signature GEL cushioning system has been optimised in this version to deliver an unrivalled running experience.
ASICS’ archive models, the GEL-WAHINE II and the GEL-NETBURNER IGS II are the inspiration for this new model. The references are further encapsulated in their campaign, shot by British photographer Rosie Marks in Australia, the home country of GEL-FLAMME designers Laura and Deanna Fanning. The images show the growth of netball.
The Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-FLAMMAE collection will launch through the ASICS web shop and select retailers on 19 July.
