Attention stylists, because this Miu Miu collection is also one you’ll want for the editorials

Miu Miu took inspiration from the world of tennis to design its autumn/winter 22 collection, which you have to see because it’s stunning.

Miuccia Prada had a very difficult time surpassing herself with Miu Miu, after the success and madness that her last collection for the house unleashed, but she has done it again and has demonstrated once more why she is a designer with capital letters; well, not a designer, but a genius.

It is worth noting that Lady Prada has been one of the few to present a new silhouette for women. But Miuccia is a smart woman and knows what sells and what her clients want at the moment, that’s why in this autumn/winter 22 collection that she has just presented in Paris during Fashion Week (PFW) she has once again patented the crop tops and micro skirts that have been so successful this season and that have featured on so many covers and editorials in magazines all over the world and in the streets of the main cities. So, attention stylists because when you see Miu Miu’s latest proposal you’re going to want it for your editorials and you’re going to fight for it like you did with the cropped jumpers, crop tops and micro skirts of the spring/summer 22 season.

And if last season the M.M girl was a workaholic, this season she’s transformed into a sports fanatic, but not sport in general but tennis, as we can easily see the clear Wimbeldon influences in the short, low-waisted skirts of the 2000s and in the tops with sheer lace panels placed in a cheeky way. Ballet, which is not yet considered a sport although it should be because of the physical effort and discipline it deserves, also features in the collection in the form of ballerinas and knitted socks. And after a bit of sport, what better than going out for a drink and wearing a total look in snake print leather, a rhinestone dress with matching leather belt or a sheer dress with appliqués and flowers on top?

Finally, one of the things that caught our attention and excited us the most about the show was seeing Miuccia return to designing menswear for Miu Miu after 14 years without doing so. You can imagine what the result was like. Take a look and judge for yourself. But come on, all in all, spectacular. We love everything, especially the polo shirts and the leather garments.

How far does Miuccia Prada intend to go with Miu Miu? At the moment we have no idea, but what we do know is that she is creating a great need for us to buy some of her latest collections.
