Avanti by FENTY and PUMA reinvent themselves through ponyhair

First introduced in 2001, the silhouette came back into the limelight after being reimagined by Rihanna in different versions.

The latest meeting between the sports giant and the label founded by RiRi is materialised in two furry Avanti after having conquered us just a few months ago with the metallic finishes. The ‘Pony’ models in white and mottled brown calfskin, two real must-haves for any sneaker lover, have the same rounded structure and the oversized tongue that is so characteristic of football boots.

“I wanted to bring something iconic from the archives to the street, and the late great Pele made the Avanti so iconic,” Rihanna herself says of this highly recognisable model.

The new FENTY x PUMA Avanti will go on sale on February 22nd through puma.com and selected physical shops.
