Without a twentieth anniversary to start celebrating and without an old normality to recover as if it were truly new? What happens now with Primavera Weekender? Well, it will once again be the ultimate music camp.
Of course, we don’t need any excuse to meet again at the Magic Robin Hood Camp resort in Benidorm. The unrepeatable atmosphere generated at the most unique festival in the Primavera Sound universe is an excuse in itself. Either you experienced it at the 2019 and 2022 editions or you’ve been told about it. In any case… you know what we mean.
For one weekend, artists, bands and audiences will once again share stages and bungalows in a happy parallel reality that has its epicentre in music. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, you are part of something.
So, on the 18th and 19th November, Benidorm will host the third edition of Primavera Weekender with a line-up presented by Estrella Damm in which sweet nostalgia, pure present and promising future coexist. Just the three timelines that perfectly combine the British Slowdive, shoegaze pioneers still alive and kicking off the line-up with the digital idol Yung Lean; Amaia‘s chest of instant classics; Arab Strap with their first album in sixteen years; the electro-noise discharge of HEALT; Mykki Blanco and his chameleon-like talent; the indie relay personified best by Nilüfer Yanya; the irreducible rock of Triángulo de Amor Bizarro and the all-terrain duende of Soleá Morente.
It will therefore be a Primavera Weekender designed to confound the algorithm. From the flamenco re-reading of Queralt Lahoz to the pop 3.0 of Yeule; from the celebratory post-punk of Crack Cloud to the fluorescent songs of the Australians Confidence Man, passing through the chaotic enjoyment of Guerilla Toss; the electro pop with a message of the Belgian duo Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul; the krautjazz of Trees Speak; the 90s nostalgia of DADABE and the end of the party of Indiespot DJs vs Xtrarradio DJs.
The three stages located in the adorably picturesque Magic Robin Hood Camp venue will concentrate sounds from all walks of life and some surprises such as the Mainline Magic Circus, a space curated by Mainline Magic Orchestra, which will bring together the unpredictable Catalan collective; with Yung Prado and Marcelo Pantani at the helm presenting their own projects; with the synth duo Desert and the surrealist costumbrismo of rebe.
In addition, the Primavera Weekender 2022 ticket will be a direct passport to tomorrow thanks to new values from here like Carlota, TWIN and Baloncesto; and revelations like They Hate Change, Grace Ives, Joy Anonymous, Luna Li, yunè pinku, Sister Ray, Miso Extra, Lynks or Pip Blom. Your next favourite band will also be in Benidorm.
Tickets are now on sale through DICE, and include access to the concerts, full board during the weekend and accommodation for two nights in bungalows with a minimum of two people and a maximum of six. Find out all the information by clicking here.
