Balenciaga Gay Pride 2021: capsule now on sale

The Balenciaga Pride 2021 capsule is now available, which celebrates the visibility of the LGTBIQA+ collective as it does every year around this time. We could already see this capsule at the brand’s Pre-Fall 2021, but finally it is available for sale.

Gvasalia’s brand continues to give visibility to the LGTBIQA+ collective. This time it does so with a new series of pieces including sweatshirts, baseball caps, T-shirts and underwear.

Demna Gvasalia has stated on several occasions the importance of “breaking through against homophobia”. And so he has done so once again. The entire collection sports the words “GAY Pride” in white capital letters, an obvious imitation of the GAP brand logo, which also uses the same font.

15% of the proceeds from the sale of BALENCIAGA GAY PRIDE 2021 will be donated to The Trevor Project, one of the leading international organizations that aims to help and support the LGTBIQA+ community. This organization, founded in 1998 in California, acts in the prevention of suicides or crisis situations. It also provides young people with a hotline, a dedicated and safe social network and educational and informative programs on LGTBIQA+ issues.
