Balmain enters the fine jewellery market

Balmain’s first genderless jewellery collection is here to stay thanks to the Adorisa Group.

Balmain’s first genderless jewellery collection is here to stay. With the help of the Adorisa Group, the French house’s team is entering the world of jewellery.

Through this new project, Balmain “will reflect the creative vision of its creative director, Oliver Rousteing, as well as the bold spirit that has historically characterised Balmain.” A total of 32 pieces designed in Paris and crafted in France, composed of ethical 18-carat gold, conflict-free minerals and traceable precious stones.

And although details about the collection have not yet been confirmed, we can take our cue from the references present during the Spring/Summer 2022 show. Here, large gold chains took centre stage, serving as halter-neck tops.

“For ten years, my team and I have carefully combined the visionary ‘new French style’ of Monsieur Balmain with the distinctive and modern perspective of the house in the 21st century. In this way, we have been able to create a singular and cohesive universe. Everything that comes out of our studio remains true to the bold and inclusive spirit of the house and its ever-bold style. This makes it easy to recognise a Balmain design. That’s why it was important to capture the house’s unique DNA in our new genderless jewellery collection,” says Olivier.

The Balmain jewellery collection will go on sale next summer and will be available worldwide in its official shops and selected retailers.
