Bleu Mode x Lacoste: revisiting the classics

We can only say “Vive La France!” after seeing the new Bleu Mode x Lacoste collection. A limited edition capsule with references to the brand in the 80s era, presented in Sète, the photographer’s hometown.

Born in the south of France, Sète, trained at Parsons NY and with an impressive talent, Julien Boudet, who you will know as Bleu Mode, is one of those photographers who has learned to capture the perfect fashion moment. A fan of the Lacoste brand, he now takes the other side and collaborates on a colourful line full of retro touches.

Obsessed with Lacoste’s late 80s youth culture boom, Boudet delved into the brand’s archives to discover his 10 timeless pieces. The collection features four different tracksuit styles, two sweatshirts, five caps, accessories such as socks and, of course, the label’s classic polo shirts.

The Frenchman has managed to combine a vintage style with touches of pure streetwear essence in the silhouettes that he photographs so much in his day-to-day life. If we still haven’t convinced you to buy Bleu Mode x Lacoste, you should know that all the items have been made entirely from recycled materials.

The Bleu Mode x Lacoste collection will be available from June 24th on the brand’s website.
