Blondey McCoy stars in Berluti SS20’s new campaign

Parisian brand Berluti have just presented the lookbook for their upcoming SS20 collection, which features the skater Blondey McCoy.

Kris Van Assche’s contemporary tailoring is giving a lot to talk about lately. The creative director continues to reinvent the luxury brand with his particular vision of tailoring, fusing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary twists and turns.

This time, the star of the campaign (@blondey) is photographed by his long-time friend Alasdair McLellan. But what is most striking is the choice of footwear for McCoy: a pair of Oxford leather shoes with blue geometric figures on the toe, to match his tie.

However, this is not the first time that Blondey collaborates with the brand. It’s already the third campaign he’s done for Berluti under the vision of Van Assche. As the creative director points out in a press release, “Blondey immaculately mixes the qualities of an old soul like the brand with the desire to live in a new generation”. For Berluti, the refined rebellious attitude of the skater is the spirit with which La Maison wants to enter this new decade.
