Last night, Teatro Eslava celebrated its first club session after its recent reopening, and it did so with one of the most important names in the city’s nightlife scene; Cha Chá The Club.
In just a few years, the party founded by promoters Edgar Candel Kerri, Laura Vandall and Andrea Vandall has become an iconic representative of the true spirit of Madrid, bringing together celebrities, club kids and indispensable names in the fashion and music industry since 2015.
These attendees and regulars at Cha Chá, who are vital to understanding the essence of the session, have been entrusted with the promotional image of the arrival of the party at Teatro Eslava, signed by Amanda Portillo. The illustrator and designer has created a special piece that brings together the most representative members of her community, including actors Ester Expósito and Aron Piper; filmmakers Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi; DJ and model Sita Abellán and fashion designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo, among others.
To welcome them to their new home in Calle del Arenal, the Cha Chá team presented a sensational line-up made up of key artists from the contemporary urban scene, including Estonian rapper Tommy Cash; national trap matriarch La Zowi; Granada rapper and DJ Chico Blanco; Parisian musician Le Diouck; French rapper Lala &ce; producer Mygal and Edgar Kerri – the latter two also part of the Cha Chá Soundsystem team.
The opening party – which spanned the first three floors of the Teatro Eslava – was a real highlight on Madrid’s cultural agenda. It was attended by numerous well-known faces, such as the aforementioned Ester Expósito and Aron Piper, the actor Óscar Jaenada and the singer-songwriter Guitarricadelafuente.
In this way, Teatro Eslava reinforces its commitment to the revitalisation of Madrid’s nightlife and its commitment to significant formats for different generations of club culture lovers.
