As we said, Courrèges has just announced some very good news. It has to do with nothing more and nothing less than a return to the Paris runways with his men’s collection. The most important thing, right? The truth is that it’s a great news because since 1986, when André Courrèges decided to stop designing fashion for men and to focus only on women, he hadn’t presented any men’s collection. The expectation is high and the hundreds of questions about what Di Felice will surprise us with this time are already on the table, but we will have to wait until June 23rd, when its fashion show will take place (without guests). This men’s collection will be presented together with a mini resort collection for women.
It seems that little by little the fashion world is getting back to normal. In addition to Di Felice’s Courrèges, four more brands will be joining the next edition of Paris menswear fashion week. These brands are: Saturday, Georges Wendell, Gravalot and Jan-Jan Van Essche.
At the moment not much more is known, only that the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la mode together with the French government have given the go-ahead for fashion shows and physical presentations to take place. The rest is unknown. Let the countdown begin…
