We now focus on the details of the Italian streetwear brand’s recent “ARTWORK”: the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 “Sail”. After Erik Arteaga skated on the Jordan 4 Sail, we decoded this new jewel for the hypebeasts.
Presented at Virgil Abloh‘s ‘FIGURES OF SPEECH’ exhibition at MCA Chicago and on the AW20 catwalk at Off-White, these women-only sneakers come in a mix of sail / muslin / white shades.
The base of the Air Jordan is constructed of leather with translucent TPE layers for a deconstructed ‘ghosting’ effect. The cream-coloured midsole is assisted by an air chamber and a translucent rubber outsole.
On the kicks we find details such as the Jumpman on the tongue, the heel panel, the laces marked by the inscription “SHOELACES”, as well as the “AIR” printed on the sole. The iconic Off-White flange closes the shoe design.
It’s rumored that these Off-White x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” will be priced at $200. Also that the drop will be on July 25th. We’ll be waiting for it.
