Details on the launch of the JJJJound x Salomon XT-Wings 2

A few days ago, both streetwear brands announced their first collaboration through Instagram; the XT-Wings 2 shoes that bring together the minimalist aesthetics of JJJJound and the characteristic elements of Salomon’s trail running shoes.

We now know that the release is scheduled for June 1 via the JJJJound website and June 2 at Salomon and select retailers. The XT-Wings 2 is one of the lesser-known silhouettes in the Salomon Sportstyle line, originally released in 2011 as a performance trail shoe with a thick midsole and a flashier upper than the current design, reinterpreted with JJJJound’s thoughtful aesthetic.

With Salomon’s Contagrip® outsole and cushioned midsole made with EnergyCell+ technology, the sneaker ensures durability thanks to its materials such as nylon and mesh.
