The images show the model in an intimate domestic setting supervising children. Han Chong, founder of self-portrait, wanted to reflect the “wonderful memories she has of seeing strong women celebrate life in all its forms.”
The new campaign is inspired by Chong’s own childhood memories. “I grew up in a household where I took pride in dressing up for any occasion. This has driven my work in self-portraiture, where we have become the brand of choice for families to wear for celebrations,” she shared.
Ratajkowski wears denim pieces, mini skirts and flirty tweed crop tops in the images, followed by the evening collection, which includes a strapless mini dress adorned with feathers and a long-sleeved pink dress with beading and feather cuffs, embodying the concept of “dressing up for an evening at home.”
“I loved working with Nick, he’s a truly amazing photographer and it was a delight to get into character. self-portrait brought together a very special team and I’m thrilled to be a part of their campaign,” added Emily.
