Ester Manas demonstrates that inclusivity is not at odds with design

Designer Ester Manas brings an inclusive touch to Paris Fashion Week (PFW) with her autumn/winter 22 collection.

That’s right, the designer Ester Manas has once again demonstrated that being inclusivx is not incompatible with design or with the creation of a collection that is pleasing to the senses; senses that have certainly picked up on the fact that Ester has once again positioned herself as the most inclusive designer at the latest edition of Paris Fashion Week (PFW).

The name of her collection said it all: “Come as you are”. This slogan served as both an anthem and a requirement when it came to choosing her casting. They didn’t want perfect measurements, but real people like the ones we see on the street every day. She succeeded and turned her entire cast, with the help of her autumn/winter 22 creations, into real supermodels. If there was one thing that characterised the Manas show, it was the diversity of women’s types and colour.

It was the perfect time to celebrate the female body in all its aspects and what better way to do it than with vibrant colours such as pink, orange and green, or with tinsel wrapping some of the dresses diagonally. The seductive touch and the vindication of curves was also present in the form of lace and tulle garments with lingerie motifs and cut-outs under the bust, in the shoulder area or around the knees. Handbags and long gloves, very trendy this season, were in charge of finishing off the looks.

Congratulations Ester Manas for demonstrating that making a beautiful collection is not incompatible with the world of design or the runways. We need more designers like this.
