Etnia Barcelona celebrates its twentieth anniversary and celebrates it with “Heritatge”, a special limited edition capsule that conveys the feeling that is intrinsic to the brand’s DNA; Euphoria. The launch includes four models full of personality made of acetate chess, a resistant material designed by the brand for its 2006 collection.
The new collection celebrating the brand’s success includes “The Einstein”, “The Kennedy”, “The Kahlo” and “The Kubrick” models. A colorful capsule that combines chess with yellow, blue, pink and green. For a unique visual experience, the four sunglasses incorporate HD mineral lenses like each of Etnia Barcelona’s designs.
Celebrating the label’s relationship with the world of art and culture through its collaborations with rebellious and daring artists, each of the eyewear incorporates a symbol: an eye with a lightning bolt, an eye with eyelashes, an eye with a pyramid and an eye with false eyelashes, referencing the Stanley Kubrick-directed film “The Clockwork Orange”.
For the campaign, Etnia Barcelona commemorates its 20 years through different iconic characters in the history of mankind that have been present in the inspiration of the brand’s history. Undoubtedly, if the Barcelona-based eyewear brand had existed in its time, these iconic figures would have worn a pair of Etnia Barcelona.
