The Giv 1 is the first sneaker that Matthew Williams has conceived for the brand. The new design comes in three models and its aesthetic is somewhere between sporty and luxury.
After debuting as Givenchy’s creative director with the SS21 collection and after having presented his proposal for next fall/winter, Matthew Williams is back in the news with the launch of the Giv 1. These new unisex sneakers are the first he has designed for the French brand and are characterized by an aesthetic that mixes luxury and sport in equal parts.
The Giv 1 model has been presented in three different versions: black leather and white —both with neon green details in the midsole— and another with crocodile-effect reliefs. But despite their differences, they have something in common. All silhouettes are made with a combination of technical fabric and mesh, and the upper is embroidered with TPU details. In addition, Matthew Williams has added the brand’s signature 4G logo on both the sides and tongue of the shoe.
The Giv 1 is now available at Givenchy’s online store for over $900.
